A Laugh Supreme Comedy Night
Featuring stand-up comedy from Alex Milner (compere), Morgan Rees*听补苍诲 Hasan Al-Habib and live music from The Aidan Pope Quartet.
Hasan Al-Habib is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Hasan performed at the Midlands regional heats of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024, won the 2023 探花直播 Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award and was a finalist at the 2022 Chortle Student Comedy Awards.
After selling out his double act show 2 Muslim 2 Furious at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024, Hasan will be making his solo debut in 2025 with Death To The West (Midlands) 鈥� a love letter to his Iraqi heritage and upbringing in 探花直播. DTWM has already received its first nomination for Best Debut at the 2025 Leicester Comedy Festival Awards.
Morgan Rees
This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. Morgan has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You鈥檙e Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
