What is volunteering?
Volunteering involvesÌýoffering your time to take part in an activity whichÌýbenefitsÌý±è±ð´Ç±è±ô±ð, organisations orÌýtheÌý±ð²Ô±¹¾±°ù´Ç²Ô³¾±ð²Ô³Ù.ÌýMany studentsÌýand recent graduatesÌýseeÌývolunteeringÌýas an enjoyable way to gainÌývaluableÌýworkÌýexperience and developÌýtheirÌýpersonal and professional skills.

What types of opportunities are available?
Many different activities and roles areÌýavailable throughout the year with a range of commitments, from short-term, one-off projects (a few hours, or several days/weeks) or more long-term, regularÌýopportunitiesÌý(several months to a year). Roles can include things such as taking part in a community clean-up, befriending the elderly, mentoring a young person, managingÌýa charity’s social media or organisingÌýan eventÌý– to name a few.ÌýÌýÌý
