Join us for the听That鈥檚 Me!听Research Exchange Seminar Series,听hosted by 探花直播.听This brand-new interdisciplinary series is designed specifically for听Global Majority researchers, offering space to:
- Present your research to a global audience.
- Enhance your research profile.
- Build community with fellow scholars.听
Whatever your career stage,听this is a chance to be seen, heard, and supported. Attendance at the series is open to听all students听and staff at 探花直播 (BCU),听University of Wolverhampton (UoW), and external colleagues.
With the permission of the presenter, each session will be recorded for the听That鈥檚 Me! Podcast, enabling your research to reach a global audience.

If you鈥檇 like to听present at future seminars in the series, we鈥檇 love to hear from you! Whether you're exploring new ideas or refining your findings, this is a great opportunity to share your voice and connect with others. To get involved, please send a title and a 300-400 word abstract of your presentation to That鈥檚 Me! Post-doctoral Research Assistant Dr Sulayman Bah at听Sulayman.bah@bcu.ac.uk. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis to build a programme that will run from May 2025.As part of the series,听That鈥檚 Me!听is also running a听poster competition听for Global Majority doctoral researchers. To get involved, create a poster that communicates an aspect of your doctoral research in your chosen format. It's a creative and impactful way to get your work noticed in BCU鈥檚 Research Hub, where your post will be displayed.听A 拢100 shopping voucher will be awarded for the best poster.听The deadline for digital submissions will be ongoing until project closure 31 December 2025.听Please send your submission to That鈥檚 Me! Project Manager, Amy McKenzie at听amy.mckenzie@bcu.ac.uk. Poster printing costs for display in the Research Hub will be paid for by the That鈥檚 Me! project.
