Professor Kulman has been working on a series of new work for a show at the Aldeburgh Festival which have explored聽three-colour separations. This has allowed him to develop new practices in autographic printmaking.

Prof Kulman is currently looking at transdisciplinary practice from a pedagogic point of view. This is being developed alongside a new postgraduate course, MA Art and Design He is also engaged in Varoom Lab which is a centre for extending illustration practice into research.
Prof. Kulman is currently interested in areas of research that include Printmaking, Illustration and Graphic Art. To date he has examined seven internal and external PHD completions and supervised one student to successful completion.
