探花直播 Tech Week gets creative with CreaTech Frontiers

探花直播 (BCU) is supporting the city鈥檚 digital industry and highlighting its own groundbreaking research at聽 (BTW).

BCU is one of this year鈥檚 sponsors for BTW which runs from 20-24 October 2025 at different locations across the city, including at BCU鈥檚 City Centre campus.

One of the biggest events, (Wednesday 22 October), will see聽CreaTech Frontiers take to the stage to promote the creative industries cluster, discuss how the West Midlands can become a centre of excellence for the creative economy and support more small companies and freelancers.

鈥淭his is a great opportunity to showcase what CreaTech Frontiers can offer, and how the createch sector can grow in a sustainable and collaborative way,鈥 said BCU Professor Lamberto Coccioli, Director of CreaTech Frontiers.鈥

鈥溙交ㄖ辈 and the West Midlands can become an internationally recognised hub for createch, and events like this are vital in creating a space that gives people the chance to experiment and flourish.鈥

The same day will also see how creative technologies and the STEAM concept are being incorporated in research, including Royal 探花直播 Conservatoire鈥檚 Aural Histories.

This research project has brought medieval Coventry to life through a new app, bringing together history, architecture, music and technology.

BCU鈥檚 STEAMhouse will be hosting day four of BTW with the . It鈥檒l be a chance for businesses and entrepreneurs to gain advice and network in one of 探花直播鈥檚 most innovative spaces.

鈥淏CU is proud to support BTW 2025,鈥 said Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research, Enterprise, Engagement and STEAM, Professor Hanifa Shah. 鈥淲e will continue to play our part in helping to grow this vital sector.

鈥淲e are doing this by placing inclusive, ethical, and sustainable innovation at our core, and reducing barriers to R&D through projects like CreaTech Frontiers, for creative companies to experiment, test and prototype.
