Our Collection Management team work closely with academics across all subjects to curate and maintain relevant collections of library resources in order to support study and research across the university.听

Collection Management听are the team who select the resources needed to not only match your reading lists, but also to allow you to read and study a wider range of academic writing in your chosen subject area.

Our Customer Services team are the public face of our library and are here to help you with any query you have about using our services and resources.听

Customer Services are the team you will听meet at the library helpdesks and they will also take your telephone, email and chat queries.听They run campaigns and promotions to support student engagement and attend every University Open Day to encourage the next generation of students.

Our听Learning, Teaching and Research Services team offer support to help students and researchers improve the skills needed to succeed in their time at BCU.听

They are the team who offer one-to-one tutorials on how to search resources, conduct literature reviews and accurately cite references in a variety of referencing styles.听They also offer group sessions for researchers to help develop skills specific for research in their subject area.

Our Library Systems and Resource Administration听team maintain and present our resources so they are ready to be accessed by students, academics or researchers.听

They handle both physical stock management and development of our online systems and subscriptions.听They also have specialists focusing on acquisitions, cataloguing, digitisation, inter-library loans and systems development and work closely with our other听teams to ensure our services are always as efficient and effective as possible.
