Students from Indonesia will find plenty of attractions in the UK’s second-largest city, home to 65,000 students. is a vibrant and multicultural city, boasting award-winning restaurants, lively bars and nightlife, and hosting international artists such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry at its arenas, as well as offering a range of sports.
On campus, you’ll findÌýmany places to socialise, from our own traditional pub – – through to specialist societies including Anime & Manga, BCU DJ Society, Online Gaming, Rock Society, the Harry Potter Society, and even Yoga. We also have 30 you can get involved in, from basketball to cheerleading, rock climbing to swimming, and volleyball to tennis.
It's a particularly exciting time to become a student at ̽»¨Ö±²¥. We've invested over £500 million in our estate, including a major expansion of our City Centre Campus at Eastside, providing students with an enviable range of facilities. We've invested heavily in innovative technology to give our students the best possible preparation for their chosen careers. Facilities include a mock law court, a virtual radiography suite, broadcast studios, fashion workshops and a mock operating theatre.
Our research work continues to attract international attention, 93% of our research was recognised internationally for originality, significance and rigour, of which 19% was judged world-leading (REF 2021).
We have several successful students from Indonesia. One of our Indonesian students,Ìý, an Indonesian TV talent contest. We maintain excellent contacts with our graduates living and working in the country.
Undergraduate
Certificate of Graduation from Secondary School PLUS Diploma 1 (D1) 280 to 340 UCAS Tariff points. This excludes General Studies and Critical Thinking. Remaining points can be made up with AS Levels in different subjects. AS Level in the same subject as an A Level will not be accepted. Successful completion of the Foundation from ̽»¨Ö±²¥ International College (BCUIC). International Baccalaureate Diploma 28 – 30 points.
Art, Design and Media (ADM):
Most undergraduate courses in the Art and Design schools require a of artwork.
Business School:
All undergraduate Year 1 courses at Business School require at least a Grade C at O Level in Mathematics or the equivalent.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE):
All undergraduateÌýcourses in the CEBE subjects require Mathematics at O Level.Ìý However, for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at A Level, with a minimum Grade C or the equivalent.
Postgraduate
Sarjana I (S1) or Diploma IV (D4), with good grades, from a recognised university or institution in Indonesia.
Some postgraduate courses require a subject-specific undergraduate degree to qualify for entry, for example, Law, Computing, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc.Ìý Please check theÌýrelevant for this information.
Art, Design and Media (ADM):
Some postgraduate courses require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies, while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies.
International Foundation Programme
If you don’t meet the entry requirements, you can study an International Foundation Programme to be eligible for entry to study with us. Our foundation programmes are delivered through .
English language requirements
IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Please note that some courses require a higher IELTS score.
Undergraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of £5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.
