探花直播 has a proud reputation as one of the most diverse cities in Europe, and is home to nearly 65,000 residents of Indian ethnic origin. Indian visitors can enjoy the Balti Triangle, the centre of Asian cuisine, enjoy shopping, Asian jewellers, and delicious sweet shops.
探花直播 is home to the world-famous Edgbaston cricket ground, which in 2018 hosted the Investec Test Match between England and India. Our local music and event venues also play host to some fantastic events, including the BritAsia TV World Music Awards 2015 at the Barclaycard Arena. The new Air India service from Delhi flies direct to 探花直播 Airport.

Undergraduate courses
To apply for an undergraduate course, you鈥檒l need to have completed Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Standard XII) with minimum overall 60%. Specific subject and percentage requirements may vary depending on the course you are applying for and your exam board, please refer to the detailed criteria below.
Art, Design and Media:
- Most undergraduate courses in the Art and Design schools require a good portfolio of artwork.
- Requires the 12th Standard average of 60% overall.听 Some courses require Maths with a minimum of 65% from Standard 10 on the Central Board or the CICSE Board. Otherwise, students require 60% of Standard 12
Business, Law and Social Sciences (BLSS):
- Requires the 12th Standard average of 60% with a minimum of 60% in Maths.听We also accept Maths at Standard 10 with 65% from the Central Board and CICSE Board.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE):
- Mathematics is required at the 10th Standard minimum of 65%听from the Central Board and CICSE Board.
- BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at 12th Standard minimum 65%
- All engineering courses require the 12th Standard minimum of 65%, with 65% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Postgraduate courses
Holders of a or 4-year Bachelor's degree with 55% overall will be considered for direct admission to Postgraduate diplomas, MBAs or Master鈥檚 Degree courses. However, some programmes will require a higher grade.
Art, Design and Media:
Some postgraduate courses require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies, while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies.
Engineering courses:
Holders of a 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree with 60% overall will be considered for direct admission to Master鈥檚 Degree courses.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate courses in the Art and Design schools require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies, while others require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check the website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate courses in the CEBE subjects require Mathematics at O Level. However, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require a minimum mathematics grade of C at O Level or the equivalent.
English language requirements
IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Please note that some courses require a higher IELTS score.

Undergraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of 拢5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of 拢3,000 in year one and 拢2,000 in year two.

BCU is offering a scholarship of 拢3,000 to self-funding international postgraduate students joining BCU on a full-time postgraduate taught Master鈥檚 degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.

鈥淭he University and the city of 探花直播 were both very welcoming, with something for everybody. 探花直播 is a very student friendly city, full of life and energy. The Hindu temple, Shri Venkateswara (Balaji) on the Dudley Road, made me feel at home and I used to visit it regularly.
As an architecture student, I found 探花直播 a very unique city, conserving and preserving heritage buildings and also adding on a lot of new buildings and attractions. It was a great opportunity for me to meet other international students studying there, who become my close friends in later days.
