BCU Business Services
Our Business Services have been developed to offer support to businesses and organisations of all sizes, across all sectors, locally, nationally and internationally.ÌýWe have expanded our Business Services offer to include our SME support previously offered through BCU Advantage, enabling business and organisations to find more business support in one place.
Delivering annual regional and national impact
Over £481m for the regional economy
Our activities contributed £481m in gross value added (GVA) to the regional economy (£665m nationally).
Over 10,000 jobs across the UK
The University’s economic footprint generated 10,080 jobs across the UK workforce, (5,950 in ̽»¨Ö±²¥).
Leading in enterprise development
BCU registered 218 active start up and spin-out firms in 2022/23 – more than twice the UK University average.
Driving workforce skills
BCU delivered over 65,700 learner days on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Education (CE) courses in 2022/23 –four times the national average.
Economic contribution
BCU contributes over £125m in tax revenues – equivalent to the average salaries of 3,800 NHS nurses.
Social inclusion and widening participation
BCU 2022/23 graduates' economic participation provided a £985m boost to the UK's human capital stock.Ìý
