Frances Crook was chief executive of the Howard League for Penal Reform for 35 years. She led the charity鈥檚 work for less crime, safe communities and fewer people in prison. Under her leadership, the charity secured strategic reforms including work with the police to reduce child arrests by over two thirds and cutting the number of children in prison.
